Monument Care And Cleaning

There will be no power cleaning of limestone, sandstone, zinc or marble monuments. There will be supervision over the cleaning process by the head grounds crewman.

There will be no cleaning of Veterans monuments. They will be left to age naturally.

The monument will be cleaned using a low pressure power washer or a solvent used for cleaning Granite Monuments.

There will be no cleaning of monuments that are peeling, cracking or flaking.

If a family member wants a monument cleaned, then the family member will need to sign a waiver requesting the cemetery grounds crew clean the monument.  The cemetery personal will then explain the issues and concerns in the cleaning of monuments with a power washer and chemicals.
