McCormick Family Plot

Five generations of the McCormick family are buried here in the Big Circle. Family Patriarch Henry W. McCormick, Ph. D. was an Irish immigrant, farm laborer, teacher and college professor.

For his contribution to the university, McCormick Gym, at the Illinois State University is named in his honor. He was married to Numanthia B. Kinyon.
